Doors open at 8:00 am

For the past 12 Years ETS has provided a prime location for you and your family to view the parade and participate in the festivities.
Are you ready to enjoy the parade from the BEST seat on Woodward Avenue?
If yes, join ETS on Thanksgiving morning for this premier event.

Sacred Space Concert Series - Dr. Willis C. Patterson and the Our Own Thing Chorale

The Ecumenical Theological Seminary proudly presents our Sacred Space Concert Series. Each academic quarter we showcase area artists performing in our historic sanctuary.  This Fall we are featuring Dr. Willis C. Patterson and the Our Own Thing Chorale.  Come out on Sunday, October 23, 2011 at 5:30 pm to hear the glorious sounds fill the ETS sanctuary.

Sustaining Pastoral Excellence Workshop - Speaking of Money: A Practical Overview of Basic Church Financial Management

Presenters:  Rev. Susan Mozena and Rev. Dr. Peter Henry
 
The aim of this seminar is to provide the basics on how to read financial statements, how to approach budgeting, how to set up internal financial controls, and how to work with lay leadership concerning these processes.  The presenters are The Rev. Susan Mozena and The Rev. Dr. Peter Henry.  Rev. Mozena, now a hospital chaplain and also coordinator of Adult Education at Grosse Pointe Memorial Church,  is a former hospital and non-profit executive, and Rev. Henry is nearing the end of his first five years as a pastor and head of staff, at Grosse Pointe Memorial Church.
 
All are welcome.
 
For ETS students:  Please remember that you need to attend at least 6 workshops before graduation, if you started at ETS after September 2009
