Rev. Dr. Floyd Davis

Dr. Davis is currently serving as the director of the Sustaining Pastoral Excellence program at ETS.  After serving in the US Army, he earned his BT, MBA, and D.Min. degrees. Since his ordination as a Baptist minister in 1988, he has pastored two churches including: St. Francis Missionary Baptist and Twelfth Street Missionary Baptist Church.  Aside from parish ministry, he has had a career in business as a computer programmer/ analyst developing and designing large scale computer systems.  He serves as the first vice president of the Metropolitan District Congress of Christian Education (MEDCCE) here in the Detroit Metropolitan area.
​ Dr. Davis is married to L. Odessa Davis and has three grown children and four grandchildren. He enjoys golf, working on cars and many other sports.
