Application Procedures We’re glad you’re considering admission to Ecumenical Theological Seminary! We hope our admissions process is easy to follow, but please feel free to call with any questions. Doctor of Ministry Admission Process Normally, a Master of Divinity or an equivalent Master’s degree in a theological field is required for admission to the Doctor of Ministry program. If your Master’s degree is not the equivalent of a Master of Divinity degree, you may be required to take courses on the Master’s level before beginning the doctoral program. All documentation for application to the Doctor of Ministry Program must be received at least two months prior to the beginning of the term for which you are applying. Once your application materials have been received, you will be required to schedule an interview with the Program Director to evaluate your admission file. The final decision of acceptance will be made by the Doctor of Ministry Admissions Committee. Normally, admission to the Master of Divinity and the Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry requires a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution. While some theological education is helpful, it is not required. Master of Divinity Admissions Process
