During his time there, he led the school through an unprecedented 300% increase in enrollment by implementing cutting-edge strategies in operations, technology, and institutional advancement. His modernization of the school's systems and digital infrastructure helped make Richmond Prep a cornerstone of educational excellence in Virginia's capital city, with an expanded donor base and robust community partnerships.
A seasoned worship leader with over three decades of music-ministry experience, Jonathan has enriched congregations across Virginia, including Remnant Church, Fifth Street Baptist, Sixth Baptist Church, and Third Baptist Church. He Detroit, he served on the ministerial staff and music ministry at Lighthouse City Church. He is dedicated to cultivating vibrant worship environments that bridge traditions, cultural and generational divides to enhance and deepen congregational worship.
Bibbs' contributions to music and community development earned him the prestigious "Virginia Community Maker" designation by the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts and Black History Museum and Cultural Center of Virginia. His artistry and leadership demonstrate his passion for using creativity to inspire and connect people across boundaries.
In his new role, Jonathan builds on the relationships and institutional knowledge gained as both a student and an administrator at ETS to lead the Seminary's digital transformation — modernizing systems and processes, expanding the institution's digital presence, and developing innovative technology strategies that enhance the experience of students, faculty, and staff. "Whether it's through education, ministry, or entrepreneurship, my goal has always been to uplift and empower people," Bibbs said. "ETS shaped my own journey, and I am excited to bring all of the diverse threads of my experience together — including my passion for innovation — to help prepare a new generation of leaders for the Kingdom of God."
